A stranger among us

We were one day away from reaching the southern camp,I found myself wishing the days would pass quickly so that we would be able to finally stop and rest and get settled. I had gone to the main fires to sit for a while, as I watched the flames of the fire, I thought to a few things that had changed.

Silk had been given her healing rights back and I have not seen her so excited in a very long time, she took off to quickly see to the elder woman that Yamka was worried about, I had to smile seeing her find something that brought her joy. There was much going on for some time as Ayguili took care of things that needed to be done, I did not see her return until some time later when she spoke to Yamka.

Yamka was also made tribe, she has been working to prove herself, it is good to see her make it. Seveya is to have her nose ring, Ayguili wants a ceremony, we never really had such and in truth I do not think it should be a big ritualistic flamboyant thing, it is a personal thing to a woman, much like how when a warrior is scarred, I will speak to him more on it when I have a chance. I will think on this and come up with something that is right and special, each woman is unique so each ceremony I think should be unique.

There was much activity at the fires and sometimes I found myself lost in the vibrational hum of people and voices, I watched quietly content to listen it is interesting what you observe when you do so. Fonce was drawn away as it seemed that there was a stranger crossing the lands, and some time later I saw Ayguili drawn away as well.

I do not know what all happened but I do know that Ayguili returned with an injured stranger, he asked me to take care of his wounds, well a stranger, yes, but still a person, and I never let anyone go un aided unless there was a reason and usually that would have to be for an extreme reason. Something was odd about him he had no scars to his face but that could be if he was a dweller, and well if he was a dweller that was just well, dwellers are the vermin of gor. His only saving grace is he saved one of our warriors, that was strange no dweller would do that, something did not quite feel right but I could not figure it out or place it, instead I would focus on cleaning the wound with odds help. Strangely enough she was allowed to help me, that is a first most times she is to keep as far from me as possible, I took the help she followed the commands easily enough and she kept calm and spoke to him in a calming manner.

When finished I told her she did well and brought her master honor, now I don't give praise to slaves all that often and when I do it is because it is deserved, since shalla's death only lily has earned any praise, I don't compliment free or slave without it being true, I don't blow smoke up anyone's ass. I told Ayguili how well she did and if he would allow it I would teach her a few things so she could be able to help when we needed extra hands, we have an agreement between us.

I told the stranger that he should see the healers in a day or two if he does not see anyone then he could seek me out.
